Stroy about My life and to talk classes at Bates College

            In Lewiston High School my favorite subjects are math, and science. In math, algebra interests me because I love solving problems. Geometry also interests me because I enjoy creating a graph. Math challenges me to get the correct answer. In science class I love to study environmental science and medical science because I enjoy studying world issues such as disease and chemicals things that the humans for use many things.

            I am trying to enter Bates College; I hope it will be good for me to learn how the college classes are. After going to Bates College program, I am hoping to learn more about science and more math skills will be better for me. I am hoping to concentrate on environmental science to learn different issues happening in the world.

            Currently I am taking a regularly classes which I used to taking level three classes which also county as regularly classes in order to graduating. I am not in any clubs right now but I will be next year (Insha Allah). This means if Allah says. Back in Kenya I was in environmental club, debating team, and public speaking. Also I played Volleyball and soccer. I also volunteered in Kenya. I help the doctor with patients. I was helping the doctor translation, and interpreter. Since I am came to United States of America I worked the summer of 2009 at Lewiston Adults Education youth program. I learned a lot of things such as math skills reading, writing, and interview with different companies to talk about what their businesses are.

            I intend to apply to the Bates College/ Lewiston High School Senior scholars program that will help me to get more skills from the Bates teachers. I am very excited to learn more about math and more science, specifically algebra, and environmental science. I am hoping to be accepted into the Bates College program because it is very good opportunity for me to be given the chance of my self to joined. This program will help to show challenge the work that I have done after graduating form Lewiston High School. Also this program will be helpful me to get a good education for my life.
